Company profile
Polco is at its core a family business, rooted in the agricultural tradition of the mountainous Rodochori of Imathia, known both for its famous apples and for its PDO cherries. The establishment of the company in 2007 came as a result of Polygeni family’s perennial involvement in the cultivation of the land. The founder Konstantinos Polygenis together with his wife Sofia Fountoukidou, already counting many years in the production of apples and cherries on privately owned lands, decided to expand their activities in fruit storage and preservation.
In the years that followed the business was grafted with the freshness and enthusiasm of the second and recently the third generation. Today, all three generations of our family, work together to dynamically offer top quality and services, to an ever-expanding network of customers, serving with passion and love what we love most: the precious fruits of mother earth.
