The characteristic fluffy fruit with green juicy flesh, whitish center and seeds, is rich in potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, fiber and trace elements. It boasts a higher percentage of vitamin C compared to any other fruit, which makes it extremely beneficial in stimulating the immune system, while it is also considered a “medicine” for the good functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
